Donika Cina (Albania) is a young Albanian artist. She lives between Tirana, Albania and Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Donika usually works with video art, video installation and short movies. She graduated from the Faculty of Multimedia Art at the Academy of Arts in Tirana and continues to study photography and video at the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has been part of numerous national and international exhibitions and projects.

Donika Cina is interested in the cognition processes, in the way we see the world and the way we are introduced to the diverse phenomena on the basis of our personal and collective experiences. The subject of the most of her works is she herself, her story and the stories of the surrounding crowd. She is working on comparing different points of view regarding what had happened and what is actually happening; investigation of physical and emotional aspects, which serve as a starting point for proceeding into the more universal questions and themes; gaining of a social status, the way Donika is perceived and judged by the society. Donika creates a confrontation between the exterior and the interior by presenting them in a multifaceted way. She tries to give all the possible chances to the impartial evaluation of a phenomenon and puts under question mark our ways of personal and collective judgment. Donika puts a great importance into the process itself, considering it to be a segment where different events start and develop.

In Tbilisi Donika Cina was collabroating with Katharina Stadler.

Donika Cina's residency was a part of an exchange program between GeoAIR and T.I.C.A.(Albania). She was invited to participate in the project "Discover Eliava." It was implemented in the framework of GALA (Green Art Lab Alliance) project, with the support of the Culture Programme of the European Union.
